WIPs in May

It seems that having WIP reports are useful to keep myself motivated to complete my projects and not to start new ones. I have decided, that I will finish at least two before I start a new one. One project at one time just doesn't work for me, because I lose my interest very easily.
So I showed you four WIPs a week ago.

1. My granny square bag is almost halway ready. I need 16 squares plus handles, now I have 8 squares.
Oh so yummie colors! At first I wasn't sure about my yarn choice because I don't like the purple shades there, but I started to like it!
2. My improvised summer sweater now looks like a sweater! Yay!

3. I have nothing to tell about the knitted blankie, I made no new stitches there... too much WIPs at one time... huhh...
4. I have great news about my owl project! Now I am showing just a peak, because there is an upcoming post in my schedule to uncover my first fabric painting. It was an interesting experience in painting!
Wish you happy creating!

Too much WIPs

It seems that my craft projects get over with my organizing skills. I have already bet that I wouldn't have that much projects at one time, but I just couldn't be not me. On the other side these days I learnt a lot about my crafts.  Do you remember to my big crochet circle? I started to unravel it, because after eating 600 yards of DK weight yarn it hasn't reached the desired measurements. The other thing why I wasn't satisfied with it, that I didn't like batik yarn crocheted on this way. Anyway I have to tell, that it wasn't an easy decision to stop, but who likes unravelling that much work... Now I started a very simple crochet bag using granny squares. My idea of turning a big circle into a bag is still live in my mind, but I have to find a thicker yarn to make it.

On Sunday I started something wearable for me. It will me a little sweater for the hot summer days. I don't follow any pattern. I hope that I won't regret my yarn choice. I am using Catan…

Crochet Frog Applique {pattern}

A few months ago my cousin sent me a picture from a pair of baby shoes with frog applique, that she wanted for Lili. I made a quick google search for a pattern, but didn't find any. So I tried to figure out how to crochet the applique. I must confess, that the shoes are still not ready, because the first try turned out too small for Lili's feet. And now as she is learning to walk, she needs for professional shoes. So I will use these frogs later for another project. If you have any tip what should I make with them, share with me!
