Easter buddies

Do you remember to Peep? He is the blue chicken in the background. Well, his buddies have arrived over the weekend. Do you like them?
I loved crocheting them, really easy and quick, try it!
You can find their pattern in this previous post.

Happy springtime!

Easter Peep

Let me to introduce you Peep. He is my chicken, still doesn't have friends, but I am planning to crochet him some fellows not to be so lonely.
It is easy peasy to make him: just a few meters of scrap yarn, a needle, some polyfil stuffing and few minutes.

  • ch = chain
  • sc = single crochet stitch
  • st = stitch
  • sc"tog = single crochet stitch two stitches together (decreasing)
  • * repeat *

Worked in continuous rounds. Place your marker in the first stitch. Make a magic ring.
R1: Make 6 sc in the magic ring.
R2: 2 sc into each sts. [12 sts]
R3: *2 sc in first st, 1 sc in next st * [18 sts]
R4-7: Make 1 sc into each sts around. [18 sts]
R8: *sc2tog, 1 sc in next st* [12 sts]
R9: *2 sc in first st, 1 sc in next 3 sts* [15 sts]
R10-12: Make 1 sc into each sts around. [15 sts]
Stuff it with the polyester fiberfill.
Finishing: sc2tog until just 5 sts remains. Weave the ends.

Beak: embroider a triangle to his face. It will be his beak.

Happy springtime!
